Hope you’re managing to stay cool with this heatwave?


My top tips when doing Pilates in this heat

  1. Windows & doors opened for any breeze

  2. Turn on a fan

  3. Drink lots of water- iced water is so cooling!

  4. Take regular breaks

  5. Take your time changing positions esp staffing up from the floor

  6. Take your socks off

  7. Minimise your clothing (as appropriate of course)

  8. Keep the room dark by keeling curtains drawn

Mostly keep practising just be more careful & thoughtful about your fluids & foods.
