How can we look after our bodies while looking after nature? At my allotment this evening I took this photo & thought gardening is such a mindful & relaxing activity but it’s tough on the body. So here are my top tips: pace yourself, take regular movement breaks, drink lots of water & change activities eg weeding on your knees for 15 mins, cutting hedges in standing for 15 mins then take a sitting break & celebrate your work! Also remember to stretch after a hot bath or shower. It’s worth it!
